Synopsis

LEGION OF THE LOST Three days ago, in Ivy Town, billionaire financier Bartram Fletcher was killed by three arrows. Oracle and Batgirl watch a video of the murder, and Batgirl identifies the unknown killer as an assassin, though she is not sure whether it was a murder or a message. She suits up to investigate as a second man, wearing a ring with the insignia of the lost Ninth Legion of Rome, is killed by three arrows.  She comes across Connor Hawke, who she believes is the killer because he has a bow. He tries to convince her that he is on the trail of the murder cult too, but she fights him and only stops when Eddie Fyers punches her. Batgirl pretends to be unconscious as the men talk, their private conversation proving the truth of Connor's claims. She says she will help them.   A member of the Ninth Legion reports to Agrippina that he was followed by two men. She declares that they will kill them.
